“Monday Motivation This was my 6 month progress into my journey. The LEFT was me when I had started. Was I the fattest person alive? NO! I wasn’t an obese person at all. I was decent, had cellulite, pudgy, mostly a lot of stored fat in my belly area… but most of all I was UNHEALTHY and I knew it. 😓
I didn’t cook at all, I just ate out a lot and tons of fast food. I was inactive. I had worked in an office all day where I sat 95% of the time and on my way home stopped at McDonald’s to order off the value menu and came home and plopped my ass on the couch for the rest of the night and watch TV. I did that for many years. I didn’t have energy, I was lazy and soon over time it caught up to me. One night I decided to just CHANGE and never gave up! I am very proud of how far I’ve come because it’s very possible for anyone as long as you put in the work. I worked very hard at it, made plenty mistakes and fallen off but always got back on! I did a complete 180.
Instead of coming home and sitting on the couch, I changed and went to my complex gym. I said NO MORE fast food, I youtubed a few healthy recipes and began making Sundays my grocery/ meal prep day. It’s NOT about being the biggest or heaviest, it’s about you and your health, and where you started and how far you’ve come. Don’t compare yourself to the next person. I changed my life around and made it into a lifestyle that I’ve continued 2.5 years later and plan to continue for the rest of my life.
Some may be shocked and in disbelief this took only me 6 months, but it’s possible! I worked out 9 times a week (crazy I know) and countless hours and ate very very healthy. Keep in mind- There are fitness competitors that have phenomenal results in less time so it’s very possible for an average chick like me to shed some fat in 6 months. 💁🏼😊
It all starts with your mindset- if you believe it, you can do it. If you doubt yourself, you won’t get far. Believe it and make it possible, make it into reality! Btw- I have not ate McDonald’s in 2.5 years, nor do I crave it.
